The barbed wire
that appears on the website was found along the edge of the yard south
of Sukeek's Cabin. The wire was a type patented by Scutt in 1877,
and helped date activities at Sukeek's Cabin Site. We found that
same wire around another family cabin site at JPPM in the fall of
2000. We believe the wire defined the parcels of land where
Sukeek's descendants had their first homes as free people.
