Site: 18AP52 Gott's Court

Context: Lot 42, Trench 14, Level 4, 70-95 cm below surface. Mechanical removal of soil near the south central portion of the study area where a large stable was constructed c. 1830. Although some later artifacts such as wire nails were associated with this level, most of the ceramics date to the late 18th and early 19th century.

Description:
Ovoid stirrup with a solid oval platform and an eye integrated into the relatively wide top for the strap.
