Description: This bodkin appears to be crudely made, with an irregular hole and rounding at the end. It could have acted as a bodkin for threading drawstrings and ribbons or it could have been used as a naalbinding needle. Naalbinding is a Scandinavian technique for looping yarn into garments that look similar to crocheted or knitted clothes.
