While this site is conservatively dated c. 1660-1700, it is likely the assemblage represents
the household of Henry Hosier, merchant, who occupied the site c. 1671-1686.

Some of the lead glaze has  worn away from this sherd. Vessel 38.  Lots 642, 720, 730, 874, 881. (Feature 12). Glazed on the interior. Rim, side and partial base of a shallow (2.5”) flat bottomed vessel.  A similar vessel (dimensions 15” x 11”) was recovered at Jamestown and pictured in Watkins (1960:42, Figure 21). The Jamestown baking pan was drape molded with a reinforced scalloped rim and a loop handle.
