Gray-bodied salt glaze stoneware Jug with applied (sprigged) floral motifs with engraved (incised) stems and cobalt-blue and manganese purple decoration painted under the glaze. Possibly similar to complete vessel shown here. Vessel probably dates to second half of 17th century, based on the applied and incised motifs with cobalt blue and manganese, from 18CV60. Complete similar example from Private collection shown on right.
