North Devon Gravel-Tempered Coarse Earthenware Pipkin. Glazed interior, unglazed exterior, 7.5” rim diameter. While this site is conservatively dated c. 1660-1700, it is likely the assemblage represents the household of Henry Hosier, merchant, who occupied the site c. 1671-1686.

Chafing dish similar to this vessel.
