The bird list for JPPM
was compiled from 1994 to the present, mostly by Tyler Bell, while he was
employed at The Academy of Natural Sciences Estuarine Research Center as a
biologist. Some observations were
reported by other observers. Mr. Bell has observed all but 2 of the listed
species for the park. He has been birding actively in southern There are two bird
lists, an alphabetical
list and a taxonomic list.
Each bird common name in the alphabetical list is
connected to the Cornell Lab of
Ornithology. The scientific names are connected to Maryland DNR's “Animal Bits!”
and National Wildlife Federation’s eNature
web site. Each
bird in the Taxonomic order common
