Federal Period Everyday Dress Patterns with Joyce McDonald
Do you need a dress to wear during the Bicentennial of the War of 1812? Joyce McDonald, historic costume seamstress, will show us how to create a period dress pattern based on her research using early 19th century garments. Participants will also learn how to cut a short gown and skirt appropriate for working class wardrobes. Workshop fee includes pattern muslin and instruction.
